I had gone through a back surgery for a herniated disc. Several months after the surgery, the pain started again. I was not sleeping much at night and struggling with finding a comfortable position during the day. I had tried physical therapy, but it wasn’t alleviating the pain.
I started with NHS on a nutrition and acupuncture program. Within 2 weeks of changing my diet and food choices, the back pain began to subside. I started sleeping through the night again and was able to ease myself back into exercise. I have been pain free for about 2 ½ years and have maintained acupuncture and better nutrition choices.
As I followed NHS suggestions for nutrition and supplements, I lost a total of 45 lbs in a period of 6 months. I was able to exercise regularly and the pain disappeared.
